I'd be happy with a MOD that would just let users put their Google Talk username into their profile, just how MSN is set up. I tried to add this myself the other day, but I'm not familiar enough with ASP and ended up breaking things.< |

Yeah, they are using the XMPP protocol that was created by Jabber. http://www.xmpp.org/
If someone can get some headway on how to access google talk via the protocol, that would be great.  < |

Miranda IM uses Goggle Talk in same plugin with Jabber... May be that info helps.< |

I have been trying to find the specs on how to do it, but have not found out how. Some members of the vBulletin forum have made a hack that adds that feature to the forum.
Marcel, it supposed to act similar to how the ICQ/Yahoo/AOL feature work. Be able to contact someone via Google Talk using a button on the forum or from thier profile.< |

What do you mean with "implement the feature beside adding a button"? You mean actually making a 'call' from the forum page ?< |
