As requested recently (also last year), here's another wrap up of a mod I whipped up for oxle.

This mod provides the functionality to ignore forumcode within your post, or within specific parts of your post.

It uses the tags.
The instructions together with a demo can be found at oxle.
Any questions ; post here or at oxle.

gjs ; you're welcome. I'm glad you like it.

the easiest way to show a tag is by interupting it with another tag, if you do a reply quote on this message you will see what I mean.

here is a [url][/url] tag

I've just installed this as wanted to show my members how to use tags, as normally you cannot because the forum changes them to the tags you are trying to demonstrate how to use!

I have to say, it works really well. Just the job.

Thanks for this MarcelG.

Greg.

That was what I meant actually :)
I only had Code as the only example doing something similar.

You mean like the code tags ? Well, the code tags at oxle also refuse to parse forumcode, so no, this is not the code tag.
This tag enables you to show people how to use forumcode, without the forumcode being interpreted by the software.<

Is this something like [.code][./code]?
Cause if so that could come in handy.
