Posted - 03 January 2006 : 20:17:35 This MOD adds a full DKP system to Snitz forums. Forum administrators who run guilds for any of the various MMORPG's may find this useful. This mod is being released for the current version of snitz (3.4.05).
With the install files is a readme_dkp.htm file that details installation instructions.
Go here to download the install files: http://www.eternalhollow.com/snitz_dkp_mod.zip
Beyond the installation instructions, I don't have any documentation regarding the actual use of the system. It's my profound hope that the system is straight-forward enough for most people to grasp once they've completed the installation instructions in their entirety.
*For forum administrators that support a World of Warcraft guild, there is also a supporting mod that will populate your new DKP system with most of the existing WoW bosses. The DKP mod must be installed and working before you run the bosses mod.

Posted - 17 May 2006 : 13:34:25 Great news Zuel. It is quite nice to see more and more WoW Community Forums using Snitz. This will help a lot in WoW oriented MODs. I think we need : - A fully game integrated DKP - An itemstats - A WoW oriented profile system
any suggestions ?

Posted - 17 May 2006 : 09:32:01 I'm working on building my own. Your mod doesn't fit the one we use. We use Zero Sum Points. I also have to build a UI interface for the game itself.< |

Well, I was hoping to rework the PHP MOD into ASP.
When I saw the php files I didn't look into what the items were, so I need to take a look at that.
Thank you for the reply.

Do yo know of any MOD similar to Item Stats ? http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=69529&package_id=70632&release_id=381547
That would be a cool feature
Once again, great job..

Posted - 04 January 2006 : 11:09:54 I play World of Warcraft I know what he means.
Key terms: Raid - Bunch of people usually guild mates ranging from 10-40 players. Loot - Items recieved during a raid. Could be armor, weapons, etc. Points - Associated with the items recieved during the raid. Can ranged from 5 - 100 points or more. Players who won the item gets points subtracted while other players who didn't win get points so they get first pick next time.
A DKP systems tracks the players who were on the raid and subtracts and adds points to the players on the raid. An example can be found here: http://www.twistingshadows.com/index.asp?select=Points
It is ugly as hell but I was also working on an automated system. I for one will be downloading this to give it a test run.< |

Posted - 04 January 2006 : 07:31:41 Argento ; so if I understand this correctly ; this is a system were people are rewarded with 'dragon kill' points for things they've done. They can also reward each other ? They can then 'buy' things with those points?< |

Posted - 04 January 2006 : 05:59:01 Yep, it looks like Stephen got it: Google Search
Apart from the lack of my use with the mod, the concept looks quite good at Eternal Hollow Forums. The only thing I would do is make it member access only. < |
