Posted - 18 July 2007 : 14:36:19 ah. That might be a problem... my home "file server" is a shared drive on my Media center...< |

Posted - 18 July 2007 : 14:30:23 File sharing stopped working altogether. When I tried to access shared folders, I got:
Not enough server storage is available to process the command
Tried to change the value of IRPStackSize in the registry, but it didn't fix it.< |

Posted - 18 July 2007 : 14:01:47 Missed that part.
What kind of file sharing issues did it cause?< |

Posted - 18 July 2007 : 12:28:14 I don't think it needs input from the community to work. As they state:
In today’s Internet, malware can lurk on even the most trusted and popular websites. We can keep you safe from attack, even if you’re the first person to stumble upon malware-laced content. How does this work? When the bad content attempts to load, our behavior-based profiling algorithms identify and intercept it in real-time, before it installs itself on your computer. < |

Posted - 18 July 2007 : 11:40:18 Given that it appears to rely heavily on community response its a bit of a chicken/egg problem... it probably won't be too stellar until a community builds up - but it may not hit that critical mass of users due to limitations of the small community.
Unless I misread, and the community component is more for enhancement/refinement.< |
