Contrary to what Apple would have you believe, it is NOT twice as fast as IE at all, in fact from what I have tested so far it is actually IE that is twice as fast as Safari< |

Posted - 10 November 2008 : 17:04:24 Funny, on my home PC and IBM laptop I've noticed Google Chrome renders pages faster than IE7 and Fx3.< |

agreed, they are not even the right fonts let alone the right size, just compare it to any other browsr and you will see the fonts are just rubbish, I can't vouch for the MAC,but on the PC the only browser that is slower at renderring is google chrome, and that uses the same renderring engine.< |

Quite good here (the font) and the speed, it is very fast!
P.S. I know... I'm using Safari for Mac, but just to let you guys know that is fast comparing to Opera and FF3 < |

Well, it is technically still a beta... however, I do agree that it's quite ironic that Safari was hacked on the first day of its first Windows release.
I'll wait for the final release. I probably won't switch to it completely, but I'll definitely use it for testing purposes.< |

Posted - 12 June 2007 : 14:24:22 That was one of the other complaints that I've seen mentioned. I'll probably download and install it on my development machines at home, but only because 12% of the people who come to www.jesusjoshua2415.com are running Safari - and I'm too cheap to get a Mac. < |

Posted - 12 June 2007 : 12:04:19 Ah. I thought you were referring to the load time like most of the articles I've read. Does it really render that slowly? (I'm at work right now and I had to go through the 7th circle of hell just to get IE7 on my workstation...)< |
