Allow me to highlight some changes that might affect a number of mods.

  1. In the 3.4.06 version, the policy.asp file is no longer used. Instead, inc_policy.asp is used as an include to the register.asp file. So users are now pointed directly to register.asp to register for your forum. Policy.asp will only redirect to register.asp instead.

Mod Developers, please update your mods with this change.

Members installing mods, please keep this in mind when your mods are trying to modify register.asp and policy.asp.

  2. Icon_calendar.gif and pop_datepicker.asp has been removed from the base code. They are no longer used as the birthday selector used during registration has been redesigned and no longer uses these files.

  3. The javascript included files: inc_code.js and inc_datepicker.js, have been modified. Usually browsers might still use a cached version of these files and not the updated version, even though you uploaded the newer files. If it uses the cached version, members will get javascript errors when choosing their birthday during registration or editing their profile.

Make sure your forum members use Ctrl+F5 to do a hard refresh, or ask them to clear their temporary files or cache and try again, to get the more recent javascript files.
