Posted - 04 December 2005 : 07:58:41 Microsoft has just release Windows OneCare Beta. It includes several features that may be interesting, including software for "tuning up" windows, meaning disk defragmentation and unncessary files removal. Included is a backup tool. It will also continuously check your firewall and antivirus status, updating itself to account for new virus and other threats.
It can be downloaded, for free, at http://www.windowsonecare.com/< |
