Microsoft has just release Windows OneCare Beta. It includes several features that may be interesting, including software for "tuning up" windows, meaning disk defragmentation and unncessary files removal. Included is a backup tool. It will also continuously check your firewall and antivirus status, updating itself to account for new virus and other threats.

It can be downloaded, for free, at http://www.windowsonecare.com/<

The beta is free, AFAIK. This will probably appeal to non tech savvy users. The others have the security issues taken care of, already.<

Very boring program, not free anyway. And "MS One care"? it needs 20 wizard steps to help you fix the problems/settings from all MS products. I don't get that.<

Well, I thought "My Computer" was pretty dumb, but now I find myself using similar names in my code :)

Is it just me, or has this product got the silliest name? Makes me think of 'Allo 'Allo every time...<
