Is there a way to assign icons for users? For instance, I have 4 icons that I want my members to be able to choose from, either when they first join, or let them switch logos when they want (after they've joined). Is that possible?

Go to the Mods w/Code forum and look for the Avatars Add-on. That's EXACTLY what you're looking for.
