Latest version now ready for download.
Please note, This is for new installs or for upgrading from the classic ASP version of Snitz, IT IS NOT FOR UPDATING YOUR CURRENT MVC CODE, UPDATE PACKAGE POSTED IN FIRST REPLY
If you are upgrading a MySQL database, please contact me before doing so. There are some inconsistencies in the Snitz MySQL database which are not compatible with the upgrade, your database will require some pre-processing before attempting an upgrade

Hi Huw
I'm struggling to find any instructions, can I upgrade a snitz 2000 classic asp forum to the MVC version and add file uploads? I have downloaded some setup files but can't find any instructions. Existing forum uses access database.

Hi,

The new version does not support access I'm afraid (it may work but no guarantees), you should upgrade to SQL first.
Some instructions available in the blog forum at https://www.reddick.co.uk/mvc

There is a new version coming soon, I'm just a bit busy at the moment so haven't been able to sort the out release yet.

Hi guys,
is this still ongoing? I have my original forum from 2003, it's hosted by Fasthosts but will no longer load.
The database is Access, but would love to get things up and running again.
Thanks for any info :)

What errors do you get when you say it won't load?
