Wow, I cannot remember this forum ever being this quiet. Nobody has hackers/spammers, nobody has any other problems, nobody has any mods they want developed. Either everyone quit running forums, they are all on vacation, or Snitz has finally become absolutely perfect.

I check in every day. I truly want to implement the mod package you designed, Carefree, but I'm skeered ... My forum is so modded ... even within the mods in some cases. I'm afraid I'll have a mess on my hands. Last I checked, the package was in it's 2nd beta phase? I will probably venture into the unknown one of these days. There are a lot of reasons I want it ... ease of turning mods on and off, latest code, and it helps me get rid of some mods I no longer use in my forums.

I am still finding and fixing occasional bugs in it, Rich. No dedicated beta testers, as far as I know. I had it online for awhile for certain testers to use one of our servers, but during my last 120 days in cardiac care, everything was shut down. I'll replace the copy on Google drive some day soon.

I check in daily to see if there are any "purple thingys" but there haven't been many recently.

ok, here's what I have as an idea (so far)
Something like this appears in the header when a member comes on and has replies to their posts:

AND when they click on this there will be a page listing said posts. Also some sort of way to either eliminate them when read and opened, OR the drop down list for time frames, or both.
I also thought of trying to shoehorn a way for replying to OTHER replies by member name and have a REPLIES to you gif as well. NOT threaded replies, just a ticker for the replies gif and list of replies (with jump to, of course) smile
WAY over my pay grade to create the db files, cookies, etc. and make it all work, but it would be nice AND is a number #1 reason people leave my site over the years. They say it's hard to follow....
I have attempted to use other pages and customize for this but I keep getting stuck and quit.
Imagine that lol

OK, color me confused. "Posts to you"? How would someone get posts addressed to him/her? Replies to posts someone has made, that's easy. Creating a quantity counter and/or a scrolling ticker with topic titles linked to the posts, no problem. Eliminating read topics from the ticker, again, no problem.
