I created a MOD from the code offered to work with the ASP Microsoft Analyzer we were talking about here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=67379

One part of the MOD lists all of the files in your forum directory and adds some syntax to the output of the list to work with the Analyzer. The other part works when you save the output as a .bat file and then run the .bat file. The .bat file triggers the Analyzer to analyze each .asp file in the forum directory. It pauses between each file.
Like Rui said, it won't catch every hole, but it will catch what it can.
What I am worried about is whether I should make the MOD public or would it pose too much of a security risk to current MOD users?
Any thoughts on this?

I would not release it as a 'MOD' per say, since you will almost certainly only be able to run this against a local copy of your forum files, so for some people (not everyone has a local running copy of their forum) it would be completely useless smile
I think it would be better for say SnitzBitz or here we had a list which indicated whether a particular version of a mod had been tested or not<

I think I understand ... I think. LOL!
So, are you saying that instead of releasing the MOD I made as a MOD in and of itself, that when a MOD is released, the MOD itself should indicate whether or not it was tested using my MOD (or some form of it)? Something like that?<

Maybe we should ask for a volunteer to become MOD tester<

I would like to nominate CareFree. He seems to be the leading MOD supplementer these days.<

LOL - I'll be happy to do it. Since I'm retired military, I'm well used to being "volunteered".<
