It's that time again when I decide to upgrade the poll mod once more. It's a popular mod that's a must have for any forum.
So what's happening for the next version? Well, I am planning to incorporate some of your ideas that you have suggested since the last mod. Here is what I have on my list of new features.
1. Time Set Poll - allows you to set a closing time for each poll. (Will incorporate cripto9t's add-on for this. Thanks cripto9t.)
2. Expand Show Who Voted feature - should allow you to see who voted for what answer. Also make it public or private. Public will allow anyone to see who voted for what. Private will prevent anyone from seeing who voted. 3. Checkbox Answers - in addition to radio-boxes, can have polls that use check boxes instead. It will allow members to vote for multiple answers.
I think that's it. You guys have any more REASONABLE suggestions for new features or suggestions to improve the current mod?<

This poll upgrade with just what you have listed above would really help - it's exactly what I'm looking for! I for one, can't wait to install it!
In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas on how to implement the multiple votes and recording a members specific vote - I'd love to hear it. I've got a thread explaining what I'm trying to do here:

I would suggest either adding a separate db field for poll mod (first field in the poll answers sounds like a good place fo it) or using the topic title for it.
Also, moving the poll away from the inside of first post, and just above it, preferably in a sub getPoll() format. <
