So...is this possible? Let's say you reply to this very post and later, I want to move JUST YOUR reply to another topic. I know...sounds crazy...but someone at my company wants to be able to move only a few messages in a Topic to another Topic.
Thanks!

Moving a single reply from one Topic to a completely different topic hasn't been done yet, correct? Maybe I'm clueless to something, but I don't think it would be too difficult to do this.
What would have to be done is changing the cat/forum/topic id's in the reply record.
Decrease the count for one topic while increasing the other topic and anywhere else if needed.
What would be sort of messy is the process of selecting the topic where you want it moved to. How would you make it easy for a moderator to select the new topic without showing 3000+ topics on larger forums. Filter by Category, then Forum - showing topics in a listbox? Or do you have the moderator type in the topic id number that they want the reply moved to? Or?
Is there something I'm missing?

Is there a way to edit a reply? I haven't noticed a way to edit an individual reply, only the topic. And on occasion, I have reason to delete a single reply. Can this not be done?

You can edit your own topics and replies if you're not an admin or moderator. Just look for this icon above your topics and replies.
An admin can edit all topics and replies. A moderator can edit all topics and replies in the forum they are a moderator of.
You can delete your own topic if thier are no replies to it. Once there is a reply, you can't delete your topic. Only a moderator or admin can do that.

When (as Administrator) I look through a topic, only the topic has icons for editing available, I can edit, delete, etc. Each individual reply has no icons for modification.
