your webserver or webhost must support ASP (Active Server Pages) to use Snitz Forums 2000.<

So basically it won't install, i guess, cause I can't get it open to login as the admin and change stuff... I thought if I had some other default then it would work, but all the other pages would work either, all that happened when those were pushed was the d/l box poped up again..

Do you have a webserver running on your computer? If so, does it support ASP (Active Server Pages)? It sounds like it doesn't.<

The only way to get it to work on your own computer is to be running a webserver like IIS4 on WindowsNT, IIS5 on Windows2000 or PWS on Win95/Win98/WinME.<

So, you can't get it ready offline using IE explorer and then upload it ready for people to start posting?? and what is PWS??

PWS = Personal Web Server. If you are using Windows98 or Windows98SE it came on the Install CD.<
