I gotta say it... "until I give birth"? now that's a minor miracle! bigsmile
Hope you're appreciating the sleep while you can! :)

Not really a miracle, at all. When husbands experience nausea, cravings, etc. with their wives; it's no wonder they start to think they'll be glad when they give birth. LOL

Honestly, I am in a different state (physical location) and I feel a touch of what she feels often, but the way she describes it ain't exactly what I am feeling. I'm feeling the touch, she's feeling the grip! The term bag of bones is pretty descriptive of that last month of pregnancy. She says every time she moves some bone or something else just feels like it is floating and falling out of socket.
Hey, Jez, when you give birth, I don't think I want to watch. bigsmile But congrats just the same! tongue
The sleep well, that's the odd thing. I am burning at every end to get things ready, so sleep is a commodity right now. However, yes, I am very much enjoying the freedom to "choose" when I go to sleep and when I wake up. I will lose that freedom for a couple years when the babies get here. sad
We were smarter this time around. This is our third pregnancy. Our first two babies regurgitated formula, so it was just a waste of funding for us to use it. We have since migrated the family away from cow's milk and toward goat's milk. It is a little low on some nutrients. We're just mindful of that and make up the lack elsewhere.
We have some nanny goats, so now we are ready whenever we need some "formula" on hand at a moment's notice.
No, it's not like we line the goat's utter up with the babies mouth. LOL! There is a food-safe procedure for preparing fresh, raw (any kind) of milk for safe drinking.
By using the goat's milk, Jez, I hope to sneak in that extra bit of sleep here and there that I will need. If we were using formula, my sleep time would be spent washing clothes and mopping the floor.

I think the hardest part of this pregnancy is the amount of children that we are having.
We have settled on saying we are having triplets though most people say we are having twins because those are what bodies will be alive at birth. Still, the twins are part of a set of three (triplets). Just one didn't make it. He died at 6 months into the pregnancy. Had all three been born at 6 months, with modern science, all three would have had the chance to survive. Plus, we are having a funeral for the Anthony. South Carolina (USA) still recognizes fetuses who live beyond 21 weeks as being a person, so it's not like we can say he was a single birth. We can't say anything other than he was a triplet who was a stillbirth.
I never wanted to be a father who outlived any of his children. I didn't have the horror of losing him after getting to know him. But it is really tough when you see him on the ultrasound alive and then dead while the other two are growing by leaps and bounds and he just stays the same. It is a constant reminder that he is dead and there will be sadness when he is born and buried. In that way as well as future memories lost, it is very tough.

My daughter was the surviving twin in her birth, her twin died at seven months. So I can empathize with you. I don't think my wife could have held both to maturity, anyhow. She is tiny (4'11") and my daughter was born at 13 lbs, 15.5 oz, 29" long. She wore 6 month clothes home from the hospital.

The latest report is the babys' weights are as follows:

5 pounds 1 ounce
5 pounds 3 ounces

Both are in the head down position, which means they are getting ready!
