Can anyone answer this?
Someone is asking about upgrading Internet Explorer 11 to IE 12 for their Windows 7 computer, but I can't find any info on IE 12.
It appears that IE 11 was only released a couple of months ago so has IE 12 been released?
If so, is that what is being recommended for Windows 7 or is it a beta edition?

Thank you, Huw!
No wonder I couldn't find any info on it!
Can't imagine why this lady would think she's being asked to upgrade to IE 12 then.

Who knows, Webbo! LOL
She claimed she was being asked to upgrade to Windows 12!
After explaining there wasn't a Windows 12 she then thought it must have been Windows Explorer and then Internet Explorer.
I've given her instructions on how to send me a screen shot of the message the next time she receives it.
I didn't think that it might possibly be Windows Media though!

I ignore any message that asks me to upgrade to any version of Internet Explorer.

If this is requested by windows update, do not ignore them, but the update, it is a question often on the security.

Maxime, that was just my sarcastic way of saying I hate IE and would never use it.
I only have it for testing, that's all.

From my experience as windows user, I was never been asked by MS itself to upgrade my IE ever. Likewise, there is IE12 launch by MS.
