After the "Do you Wii?! topic I think a new topic is necessary ; do you (have/use an) iPhone 3G? bigsmile I have one, and here's my three minute review: click. Man, I haven't been an Apple fan at all, but I'm sure loving this nifty featurephone! cool<

I have an iPod touch. Don't want an iPhone as it would cost too much here for data. I work in the centre of Dublin and there are lots of free Wifi hotspots so I use that instead. It rocks.<

Don't think I will ever buy one. Must say I dislike the hype around it, as well. Nifty as it may be, it's still a phone, an expensive one for that matter, and I'm sure the telcos love it, cause this 3G baby will get them quite some data revenue... if it sells well.<

No plans to at this point in time.
I'm quite happy with my AT&T Tilt smile (It goes by something else outside AT&T, I just don't remeber what it is...)<

Bruno,

I will never spend 600 euros on a phone, never. My phone is used for, of all things, talking. I hardly use SMS, never MMS. My current one, a Motorola RazR2 Luxury Edition (or whatever it's named), cost me 99 euros on a fidelity promotion by my provider and it does a lot of stuff I hardly use. It has an MP3 player as well, 2 GB storage, camera and stuff and they hardly get used. I'm happy with it and will keep it for a long time.
I also find the european cost of the iPhone to be outrageous when compared with the US. The US models are cheaper and with the current USD / Euro conversion rate, they are even cheaper. Apple is trying to make a lot of money on europeans.<

The US models are cheaper? I don't think that's valid for the Netherlands. bigsmile Let's calculate:
iPhone 3G 16GB : € 159,-
Subscription: 24 months € 29,95
Included in subscription: unlimited 2mbit down 384 kbit up HSDPA, 150 minutes, 150 text, unlimited access to T-Mobile WiFi hotspots. That's € 13 euro more expensive than my previous sim-only subscription, which did not include the HSDPA connection speed, and had 90 texts less per month. So, in fact this phone is not that expensive. smile Next to that, I sold my previous phone for € 220, so all in all it's almost free of charge. smile
Huw, did you get the HTC Touch Diamond? I had it in my hands last Saturday ; it's tiny compared to the HTC Tytn2 I previously owned ! tongue<
