Recently, looking for a way forward for Bandlink, I've been playing about with the new 1.5 version of Joomla!, a nice little CMS which is an offshoot of the Mambo project.
It's a terrific piece of kit. I was just wondering if anybody else here has any experience with it and what they think of it compared to other CMS.<

I haven't tried the other CMS's, but I have seen them and the layout and I just prefer Joomla's layout more than the others. It's pretty customizable and you can edit the php files from the admin panel as well.<

I haven't tried many CMSs either but have one site using drupal.org. Works quite well even though I am not using most of its functionality.<

Well, I'm loving it. It takes a little while to get used to the backend and it certainly takes the brain some time to realise the differences between Components, Modules and Plugins!
Still, I'm really impressed with the software and all of the various components available. It'll certainly make the site easier to maintain once I've got my head around it!<

I'm using www.umbraco.org and I'm very happy with it smile
at work I use www.dynamicweb-cms.com but it's to build really big websites, the ones that pay 150 000 Euros for a website with e commerce bigsmile<
