We have found that the Private Messages mod has several bugs that can compromise the security of your forum. The bugs are of different severity, but we've decided to patch them all. The bugs affect essencially the native mod files, not the Snitz base code files. As such, instead of posting the details of each fix here, we are providing a link to a set of fixed files, that can be found here.
According to our testing, you can simply overwrite the existing files and use the files in the zip instead. However, be advised that if you have changed the original files in your forum, those changes will be overwritten by the new files. That should not be the case for the vast majority of the forums.
We usually do not provide fixes for mods, but in order to better serve our community, we're posting the fixes for this one.
