Let me start with saying I'm a no-know on ASP

I want to use the memberlist as a way to provided more detailed information to fellowmembers. I tried to "misuse" the ICQ, MSN, AIM & YAHOO as standard items so I could fill it with telephone numbers, adresses etc, but the information is then presented as a link to ICQ etc. If I rename it now a link is created to start the software. Is there a way to remove this and use the field as plain text instead of a hyperlink?

There was a mod around for this ; it added extra fields, which could be used dynamically. However, I cannot seem to find it here nor at snitzbitz.com. I'll search some more, and hope to get back to you asap.<

Maybe this is what you're looking for. It is an old version, but should work for 3.4.03 and later. I tried it some time ago and ran into some trouble, but I've got a heavy modded forum, so that may have been the problem. Good luck! <

If I remember correctly HuwR had a MOD that allowed additional user fields, don't know if it is still available though. I seem to remember that there were either a few problems with it or it was for a much earlier version of Snitz, however I could be wrong on the last part.... Maybe HuwR could answer this one better than me.
OK, I found HuwR's MOD on my server, it is December 2002 and was packaged for Serverhackers forum version 3.04.08, however I am a little unsure about putting it up for download as it is not my code and I do not want to attract HuwR's wrath, if you know what I mean. If HuwR says it's ok then I will post it.<

First of all thanx for taking the time to respond to my question, internet is a great thing!
I've searched the internet extensively but it seems that Huwr has vanished in thin air, every link is dead. Any change you mail me the userfields.zip to see if it is what I'm looking for?
