Hi, can anyone recommend desktop software to remotely access MySQL databases on a server ?

I've got that Huw but was looking for something similar to phpMyAdmin which I find to be a bit easier to use

Thanks Bobby, I've just downloaded 'Toad for MySQL' and first impressions are that it seems good. A bit of a pain to download as you need to register with Dell first but if it does the job .....

For any other tool, unless you're able to install it on the mysql server itself you'll need network access to your mysql server, including an open port in your firewall. phpMyAdmin typically is running on the same internal network, and usually the same server, as your mysql server.
