Just to keep Davio happy , I am still working on the .Net version, I have spent the last month or so using someone's existing forum/database (a modded Snitz) so I can iron out installation/upgrade issues.
I have a couple of things left on my fix list and then will redo the upgrade to make sure I got everything. |

What a coincidence. Since my wife used to do exactly the same thing, someone might think I was married to all these people. We have a lot of forum owners who aren't programmers, but that's OK. This kind of support is one of the reasons why Snitz remains in use after 15 years.
I would recommend moving Golfmann's concept post (and replies to it) to the Add-On/Without Code forum. On the subject of mods, I was browsing in one of the PHP boards' mod list and discovered that the "Winner of the Summer of Mods Competition" was a simple search by topic title which even the default Snitz installation includes. Here's one for programming bugs (e.g. this particular forum that I WILL write. It adds the ability to quickly add changes to topic titles. When programming bugs are fixed, it would add either (1) "- SOLVED" or "- INCORPORATED" (when the fix is changed in the download code) following the existing topic title. Other than that one, though, I don't have any pending. So I'll work on Golfmann's mod when I need a break from working on my EBook and Movies collections.
As for the "Like" mod, Webbo, I started working on that some time ago but can't remember where I put the code. Among other symptoms, the brain disease I'm afflicted with causes dementia like Alzheimer's, and I have literally tens of thousands of DVDs and more than 30 multi-terabyte hard drives, so finding lost projects is a HUGE task. |

OK - I wrote the title changing mod for the modular forum. I'll convert it to the normal Snitz if anyone's interested. |
