Sorry for the multi-topic subject.

We have an ActiveX routine which should launch a shellexecute application. It worked fine under 2003 Server but doesn't under 2012. Anyone know if this is a 32-bit issue and, if so, whether there is a fix?

could be permissions/security related

32-Bit is enabled, that's not the answer. Folder & USR/IIS-USR/Network Service, etc. permissions are all correct.

any errors appearing in IIS logs or windows event viewer?
