I am using Proeder's file attachment mod and wonder if anyone else has ever tried to upload images from an iPad. If you've been successful, how did you do it? When the popup comes up to choose the file to upload it has a choose file button in the form field but it is dimmed out and unresponsive.

Anyone do ANY mods that might accommodate iPads?

this is a shortcoming of the iPad, there is no way round it because the ipad has no file system and therefore there is nothing to browse which is why the upload button gets dimmed out

probably best solution would be to upload to photobucket or something like that that has an apple app, then link to the images on photobucket rather than uploaded to forum. A fairly serious limitation if you ask me, but doesn't look like Apple are going to change it anytime soon

I have found that the Opera Mini Browser allows this to work. I'm going to test other browsers. The built in Safari browser doesn't cut it.

That's good to know, please keep us informed if you find other browsers that it works for.
