Dunno maybe it's a stupid idea but i thought maybe it would be possible to force a line break to keep the formatting somehow.

For example if i post this:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

It kind of makes the site look quite stupid and makes it harder to read the posts as you have too much horizontal scrolling. Any idea what to do?

I just smack the snot out of members that do dumb crap like that. Works well.

Honestly, I only had that issue with pushed together images. Solved that by putting [/img] [img].

Switch the order of your title tags

About all you could do is to set a maximum table or page width. People with wide screens would have a wider margin of unused space on the sides.

I've "fixed" this a while ago using a fixed with of a topic, plus the image resize + clipped urls feature.
See these topics on oxle:
Clipped urls : http://oxle.com/topic/3787.html
Prevent strecthing: http://oxle.com/reply/44836.html
Image resize: http://oxle.com/reply/29779.html (linked to on Snitzbitz)
I hope this is helpful.

Marcel, the source.asp for "topic.asp" to prevent stretching doesn't work. Disregard, have to be signed in to use it.
