Has anyone looked into developing a mod for moderating individual members?

I have a couple of people on my forum who get a kick out of pushing peoples buttons and I would like to put them on moderation until they get the message. I don't feel it would be fair on everyone else to start moderating each forum.

Thank's for the suggestion; It's not really what I was looking for. I haven't installed the Events Mod & the User Groups Mods either.

I wanted to hide a moderated members posts until they were approved by a moderator or admin but allow everyone to post freely.

Yes. . .my thoughts exactly.
I'd like a mod that would allow me to restrict a member to one post per day.
And one post per week if they don't get the message.

We have two intelligent successful posters that push each others buttons.
I'd rather not moderate or edit them. . .but a "time out" would send a clear message.
