Hey everyone,

I need some help. I am going to do a sponsorship page for folks who want to donate, trade, whatever with us while we are getting the things we need for our triplets who are due this summer.

I'm going to create a website that will detail the things we need ... things immediately concerning the babies as well as things that can offset other areas of our lives which will free up more time and funds for the babies' various needs.

For our other two children we had only one baby shower between the two of them, and that was a small gathering of folks. We're not used to asking for things or even telling others what we need. This time around my wife and I are at a complete loss for what to expect and for what we will need. All I can think of is to make a web page stating all that we need and hope that folks may have things here and there that they plan on donating somewhere anyway. Even odd stuff like plumbing valves for 3/4 inch PVC.

Does anyone have ideas of how to go about this tactfully? What I want to do is list what we need and then when the need has been met put a line below that need that says "Thank you _ _ _ _ _ for meeting this need." or something like that and then putting a link or a graphic to their web site that promotes what they do for a living. It's kind our way of helping them too.

We know that having triplets is big news especially since our triples were conceived without the help of intervention things like drugs or invtro ... something like a 1 in 20,000 chance. So, we figure that that page will get a lot of traffic. For instance, the local health department said that in her 12+ years she has never dealt with nor seen triplets under her care. And, the sonogram doctor said that in her 28 years of practice she has not dealt with triplets. I figure we'll get a lot of attention for this, so we want those who pitch in to also get recognition as well.

All ideas are appreciated!!!

Thanks,

Etymon

Well, I think I have a lucky break. Some gals online at a forum my wife frequents are throwing an online baby shower for us. That breaks the ice and is helping me along with some ideas.
