Does anyone know of some trusted resources which teach how to make games in Visual Basic 6.0 ? My son has really taken to learning that program and fiddle with it all of the time. I'd love for him to have some great examples to work with.

Thanks everyone!

Well, we are happy recipients of your need to be distracted! LOL!

Yesterday, my son took like forever to do a simple math page. I mean simple for him. When he had me check his work, he wanted to show me his "logic" on his scratch sheet of paper. So, I looked at it and noticed that he had assigned values within brackets and computed the math based upon doing the work within the brackets first. For a fourth grader that's really cool! He is homeschooled by us, and we know we haven't introduced that kind of "logic" yet. He is self-taught in Visual Basic, and I don't really have a clue of all the "logic" he has there, but I do know he wants to create games. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with. Now, we have to come up with an XBox for him. LOL! Thank you again for the links, Huw!

I know there are some studio software that will allow for someone to write games for the 360. But I am not aware of any for the original xbox. I think that Kudo does the 360 actually. Keep us informed so when he writes the next big game we can say we knew you before you kid got famous
