hello.... good day to all.... :)
in active user, a guest is connected to my site, ip add 66.249.70.225, in OS/Browser it says unknown, im wondering why its unknown, can someone pls tell me why its unknown?.....
its seems that this person is goin thru all my topics and then stayed in the search area.... i left the computer to eat dinner, then watched some movies, and when i came back, the ip add 66.249.70.225 is still connected to my site and still in the search area, its been there for 280 mins already.... from my understanding w/snitz programming, if a guest or member is idle, it automatically disconnects the guest or member to the site, right or i'm wrong?.....
could this be an attack?... i'm a bit worried.... :(

An unknown OS or browser can be an indicator of a bot but could equally be a real person using an OS or browser that wasn't released when the Active Users mod was last updated a few years back.
If you want to try and restrict bots from accessing certain parts of your forum that they really shouldn't be, see this topic.

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |
