Everyone has been promoting that it's our Yellow Yam that has made him perform so well. Because he is from a parish here, where that produce is grown mainly. And mainly because the US is looking to see what drugs he is on, so we gave them the name of our food he eats a lot. lol
But looking back on his track record, the times he ran isn't far off from what he has been running at other athletic championships. So no sudden increase in speed.
I have to say this was something that the country needed. Been depressing with the high crime rate here. Everyone has some hope for the little country. <
I am glad your country got a lift. It is disappointing that we didn't get the overall golds of the olympics but we got the most medals but that sort of feels just like another silver to me.

Yes, it sure is inspiring. Hope some lasting good comes out of that. Anyway, it must have been some great moments watching your runners winning all those medals.<
