I'm trying to send it to you CareFree. I may have to try a different route to get it to you.< |

Looking at the program - although it appears to be working, it does not append results to the xml file (regardless of the location, i.e. putting the xml file in the same directory as the bat file and not specifying a directory path). I made sure the read/write permissions were set (although, running from a batch file, it shouldn't matter). It will output results to the screen if I do not specify appending to the xml file.
I have all the .net versions installed (2 -> 3.5) - I wonder if one of the later packages kills some functionality....< |

Solved it. Had to modify the batch file creator to change the first output command. All good. Will review some files tonight & let you know tomorrow if we're ready.< |

The newest version (1.3) was retrofitted by Microsoft to work with .NET 2.0
In your reply via email you said that you had changed some settings that I had preset in the working demo (on my end) I sent. I had the full paths for the setup and you mentioned that you changed them to something else. Does setting them back to how I had it help?< |

No, the problem lies in the first line of output in the batch file. It MUST have the /append removed. Then it creates the file & continues to append.< |

I had the parser set the results to be appended to the one .xml file as the parser found results. I think you are saying the first record must not have /append because there is nothing to append to since the .xml file has not yet been created. The other calls after that must have the /append in order to append results.
I didn't have a problem with that on my system, but I'll take another look and see.
Good eye! < |

Huwr, whenever you're ready, this can get off the ground. I'm all set, not planning on going anywhere in the immediate future. I can manually modify the .bat files as necessary for now.< |
