Hello All,

I have updated the Recipe Mod to allow for images in it, fixed some formating issues and the ability to delete old or Spammer recipes. I have tested on an Access and a MS SQL database for the testing, and it all works well. Again I have made it an easy install and also checked for SQL Injection (Huwr ).

The release can be downloaded from:

Recipe Book Mod 3.6 - New Install
Recipe Book Uupgrade Mod 3.6 - to upgrade from 2.1 or 2.2

Enjoy and let me know how you go installing. Remember to post in to the Mod Implementation Forum if you have any issues. <

Cheers,

David Greening

I have a recipe program with 1.6 million recipes in it. You need a few?<

Dave, thanks for a new version with image insert... great. Has been waiting for this (I tried to tweak the existing version and wasn't that successful). Now I can upgrade the version. Worked nicely in my Japanese forum. So, this will be a fun upgrade. Cheers.<

No problems with the NEW vesion, I hope it is a nice smooth move to the new files, I also would not mind seeing the type of recipe's that you have in your forum, TSAloha.

JJenson, always around, just flat out working and moving up the corporate ladder. Taking the odd break to re-release a few of my old mods so they are even easier to use.<

Cheers,

Well always appreciated hopefully the move is going smoothly

I figured I had no shot at someone elses corporate ladder so I am starting my own corporation. Seems easier to just start at the top <

Dave,
Recipe 2.2 was deployed in a single locale lang environment - Japanese, on my local intranet, where I am using a forum strictly for my own KM type purpose. They are all in Japanese. I will be most likely deploying a new version with V3406 unicode version with English U/I as is. I haven't installed a new one yet but have to check how each recipe content will be delivered/published... as I was thinking/looking at a table style recipe listing. Will let you know when I got it going with your new version.

Again thanks.<

Has anyone modified this to eliminate the necessity for the admin to personally approve all recipes? I'm trying to help a few people and this looks like a big section of the code.<

I only made it that way as there was a lot of SPAM bots posting to them and they where being displayed with links to the SPAM sites. I can remove that function if you want.<

Please do. It would definitely be a lot easier if the author did it.<
