While in this, I was wondering, how can I make it so that, videos appear only when Admin posted?<

SiSL, see my inc_func_common.asp for how I did this with EFLASH (and EWMV and EQT).
The [eflash] and [/eflash] tags will be replaced by other tags when posted by a non-admin. Works as a charm.<

so i installed your mod and have read through this entire thread. I'm bummed though that the youtube
and google video havn't been added to the actual mod. Is there a reason for that? I know some
about modding the forum (mostly copy and paste, lol), but when you guys start talking about .js
and css i'm totally lost. (well, i sorta understand css)

Will you ever have this in your mod?

or maybe extended directions to add this to the mod?

(edit)i've tried with podges code to add youtube and then i updated to correct the problem
of the "watch" added to the link with ILLHILL's corrected code. But i still can't get it to work.
is there something else that needs to be done that i just can't see?

also, if i could get better instructions on how to stop the auto-play in firefox that would be awesome.
Doesn't bother me that much, except when i go to "reply to post" and it starts playing in the "topic
review."

(edit) i managed to really impress myself by figuring out how to fix the auto play.

i've got to say, my members have been begging for this sort of thing, and i am sure glad that this mod
exists because of you marcelg, for that i thank you...<

klub, please mail me at marcel@oxle.com and I'll provide you with the updated instructions asap.
I'll finalize the mod with these new features in a couple of days.<

Hi, I'm looking for a clear step by step guide to use youtube videos on snitz.
I've already modified my snitz with MarcelG add on (http://oxle.com/topic.asp?tid=3437) but I'm not sure of the rest of the code I have to use for youtube, cause it's not so clear on these 7 pages (and also my english is not so good...).

Any halp is appreciate...<

I used MarcelG's embedding.js, vid.asp and inc_func_common.asp code.
I've also modified embedding.js as Illhill says above, but I still can't see the youtube video on my snitz post...

Please help me if you can.

Thanks.<

Squek, please let me know what is not working, and what you have done already.
Repeating the 7 page topic is kind of useless.<

Excellent mod! I installed it on my forum, and it worked! However, would it be possible to add a tag on the reply menu just like for bold, italic etch... so that users don't have each time to write the tag. <

hm... i THINK that for making the sizes as you want, you have to put something like: [wmp="http://www.your.url" width="x" height ="y"]<

Ston, the current mod doesn't allow the user to enter the dimensions of the Flash file.
I did however do something similar at oxle, where I created a set of special tags for admins, where they can enter all parameters for the javascript functions.
Check my inc_func_common.asp for the functions EWMV and EFLASH for an example. (login demo/demo if you do not wish to register).<
