Alittle further =) The smilies are inserted into the textfield but this is how the preview look like: http://www.gotlandrace.se/tabort/smilie_preview.jpg
Also, look at my signature there, the < s m a l l >-tag isn't working.
It would be great if you could speed up the loading! I'm only gonna use this for special users that will write long articles and such so they won't be loading the editor that often though. < |

Also, sometimes (I've only experienced this when adding smilies from the box to the left of the textbox) and then try to save or preview the message it says "nothing to preview" or "you have to write a message". < |

Trib, did you have a look at my changes for the smilie manager? link three or four posts up. What I see on the screenshot you posted looks like the same problem I had early in my testing. I might just have to install the smilie manager now.....

I think I might have messed up the "preview"-link, I'll have a look at it tomorrow. Now I have to try and get some sleep! < |

Seems like this happen when you press "enter" after the last sentence so that the marker is on an empty line. (If you get what I mean =)) I have a bad(?) habit of doing that so that my posts will look better in the forums =) < |

The smilie-issue is there, whenever I or another user add a smilie from the table in the left of the textbox it gets messed up as in my screen dump earlier in the thread. It seems like it's working if there is only one smilie and not many in a row...

Trib see here... http://www.saint-pauls.ca/DiscussionForums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=508. I have no problems with multiple smilies. I haven't installed the smilie manager yet.

trib, I can't reproduce. Can you give me user access with RTE lev 3 or 4 so I can have a look at it directly? If not, can you recreate a new post with multiple smilies, and just before you submit the post open and copy the contents of the HTML viewer (HTML button) on the editor. You will need to use lev. 3 or 4 to get HTML source. Then submit the post, and edit the post again. Without making any changes, copy the HTML viewer again. Send me both before post and after post HTML contents by email. The regex conversion is failing on one or more smilie, I'll try to find out why.
cheers, Nat< |

Hi Nertz,
I've installed the MOD, but I am getting the following javascript error:
'tinyMCE' is undefined
Are there any prerequisite MODs that I need to have installed?

Etymon, there are no pre-requisite mods required. In fact you should make sure HTML is turned off in your admin options, and if you have KWhipps' super/admin/mod HTML mod it should be disabled in the admin options.
The javascript error sounds more like tinyMCE package was not copied correctly to your website, thus resulting in a url problem in calling the scripts. You need to extract tinyMCE from the distribution zip with the "use folder names" option, and then copy the entire contents of /tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce to a folder /tiny_mce in the root of the website (not the forum folder).
If you did copy the entire contents of the tinyMCE distribution zip to your website, you can adjust the following line of code in inc_RTE.asp as follows (add the red part to it)
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js"></script> Let me know how you make out.
cheers, Nat< |
