Sorry, I've been busy with work and maintaining my own forum so I haven't had much of a chance to keep up here or with my side projects.
Numbers were missing because owners had requested that their information be removed from public view, yet their stats remained in the database. They are no longer counted.
Inactive forums stayed forever. Now they drop off if inactive for 30 days and their stats are no longer counted. They will reappear if the server is able to contact them again. If a forum has dropped off, its registration is still active and you can see why the server is unable to count it when trying to re-register the same url.
woo.ie has been inactivated. Over 30 million posts in a single day is what I would call unbelievable and I'm not going to register to find out why it's happening. Even if there is a valid explanation, I don't see the use in trying to develop for forums that don't follow a reasonably stock implementation of the db. Whoever owns that forum is more than welcome to change the snitzstats file to take a count of posts and replies instead of the current method of using index numbers and I'll be happy to re-enable.< |

Gary, whatever happened to throw our post count off must have happened at your end - no chnages were made to the snitzstats file nor the database between the last correct post count and the sudden, unexplained jump.

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |
