I suspect that I have discovered a new bug with version 1.2.
If I choose to sort the replies with oldest first and then splits the topic, the last reply (newest post) chosen isn't moved to the new topic. If I choose to sort with the newest first, all chosen replies are moved to the new topic. |

So you choose for example 5 replies to be moved. The last reply isn't moved? So only 4 replies are moved? Which reply became the topic then? And what happened to the last reply?
Can you reproduce this all the time?
Give me a link to your forum, with an account so I can test this? Because I spent a good number of hours testing this and had no problems making a split. |

I've emailed you a link and account for you to test this. This is on my test-site, so you can test all you want.
Here is a link to a text-version of my post_info.asp, if needed. |

Your post_info.asp file isn't updated with the new code masterao. It is still using the old 1.1 code.
Did you update split.asp also? |

Strange, I used the readme-file in the 1.2 zip to update the post_info.asp. When I check the included post_info.asp, I notice that it contains code not included in the readme.
I'll apply the changes from the included post_info.asp and see if that was the problem.
Update: I goofed when adding the code the first time. I re-applied it to post_info.asp and now it works perfectly.
Thanks for the help, Davio. |
