Hey RichC (aka Panhandler)this is a poll mod and not a quiz mod!!
How hard would it be to make it into a CONTEST mod? I'd like to give a prize to the person with the correct answer.

RichC - As requested by Davio... it IS a poll mod, not a quiz mod.
And, Davio... thanks for taking my suggestion and incorporating it into the next release.
I suggested: 2. Expand Show Who Voted feature - should allow you to see who voted for what answer. Also make it public or private. Public will allow anyone to see who voted for what. Private will prevent anyone from seeing who voted.
I really like number 3 as well!! Great idea!< |

Correct, I paid redBrad0 to custom code it for me.< |

So PanHandler, it sounds like a few $$ will need to be sent my way if you want a quiz mod.
Or ask Weeweeslap for his code to the mod. < |

LOL!! Did you? Have to check my records!! But anyways, that was for last time, this is for this time.
RichC and I will talk off air. It seems a high priority is the upgrade from the current version. That shouldn't be too hard as I would be adding database fields and not taking away. (Hopefully)< |

Any news on the new version yet? I have some users on my forum clamoring for the ability to have multiple answers.< |

Multiple-choice polling is not exactly a trivial change to the existing MOD. I could not wait so made my own enhancements for my board. Here is an example result for one of them.
Subtle things needed to be considered. For example, the lengths of the bars needed to be determined as a percentage of all ballots cast, not votes.
Guests are 'suspect' in terms of their votes (they are, after all, anonymous) so I had to develop a way to track them differently than members. Since I did that it only made sense to enhance the presentation by using different colors for each. My members have greatly enjoyed the new capabilities.
Davio, I am perfectly willing to work with you on this enhancement. My code is crude by comparison to yours and is not in a condition to be released.< |

I look forward to an update to the Poll MOD, it might iron out the problem I have with the one I have at the moment.
Keep up the good work Davio....< |

Should I take that to mean I should install the current version rather than wait for this one? < |
