all the pages, ie your private inbox/outbox and PM Admin pages are all stand alone pages and you should be free to just overwrite!
You might want to update the images (inc_iconfiles.asp) as some images were re-named. Also add the extra link into admin_home.asp
also, if you didnt have the blocklist addon installed you will need to run the dbs file in mod-setup.
MAKE SURE to back up your old files first before overwriting any, and you wont have any problems!< |

Thanks ... Followed your advice and so far all seems well ... Looks good, BTW.
Because of my modded forum, I had to make a few changes. One, on privateread.asp, because I have the additional levels mod installed.
The other two, on privatesend.asp & privatesend_info.asp, include a "Send Private Message to all Moderators" capability. If you'd like, I'll send you those two files & you can incorporate them into the MOD. Simple & well worth it. Send me an E-mail if you want them GarethMoore1979.< |

GarethMoore1979, if you will be addin to the mod soon, wonder how hard it would be for you to add another column to the PM: Members Messages admin page with the number of PMs in their in/out box. Was searchin which members didn't clean out PMs, and right now you'd have to look at each individual boxes. the additional column on the messages admin page would make it easier. thanks...
cheers, Nat< |

I dont have much time at the minute but I will certainly look at that. If anyone knows straight away how this would be done and would be happy to show me, I would certainly add it to the mod!< |

might be helpful to post your error message here!!!
M_SUBJECT = the message given to your pm M_FROM = sent by member... M_TO = sent to member... M_SENT = date/time sent... M_MESSAGE = the actual message typed M_PMCOUNT = ???? (I cant recal what this is for?!) M_READ = detects if the message has been read by its recipient or not. M_MAIL = should an e-mail be sent to the recipent to inform of new pm? M_OUTBOX = deleted from senders outbox?< |

you can overwrite all the pages and it should work just fine. (back up your old files first though just incase).
add any new files that come with the mod.
if you dont already have the BLOCK LIST add on installed then you need to just run the mod setup file again (db file in mod setup), this will create the new fields in the database for block list- and it will also just tell you that the other fields are already created but dont worry about that).
You will need to upload/overwrite images and change inc_iconfile.asp for new images and sizes.
finally, make the changes in admin_home.asp as suggested in the readme file as there are new admin options.
any problems yolu cant figure out, just let me know!< |

question:
in the instructions it says:
In the file Topics.ASP
find
rM_YAHOO = 5
Add the following directly below on line 514:
rM_PM = 6
there is already a value for rM_TITLE = 6 and other values for 7,8 up until about 12
So where does it need to go

Change all the others so that they fit into sequence. rM_Title = 7, etc...< |
