Sorry for my repost earlier in the thread. I got everything to work, I am having a problem I hope someone can help me with. All files seem to upload fine on my local web server but on my host I am getting errors trying to upload files that are larger than 400k
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
any ideas?

I just installed the mod, and when I clicked on the Attachments Administration link in the Admin Options page, I got the following error:
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
/forums/admin_attach.asp, line 65
Any ideas? Thanks :)< |

.. but now there's a different problem. The section in the post.asp file that the directions say to add to my existing post.asp causes a "500 Internal Server error" error whenever I click on New Topic or Reply to Topic.
The post_english.asp file works, but instead of a link that you click on to add an attachment, it's just text that does nothing.
Thanks :)< |

Invalid procedure call or argument
/forums/outputFile.aspŁ¬line 167 ___________________________________________ only upload .txt files success.

I have the same problem as rjyz after choosing a file of the allowed format and pressing "Attach File" button:
quote: Error Type: Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A0005) Invalid procedure call or argument /aspforum/outputFile.asp, line 167
Fistly tried to use 'Mike's File Attachment Mod for Snitz 3.4.xx' - got this error, then installed 'Proeder's file attachment MOD 1.2' - the same issue.
Any help will be appreciated.< |

I am interested in this mod, but have not been able to access the link to download this mod. How can I obtain this mod as I am interested in adding the ability to have attachments to my forum.< |

I may have missed something, but from what I can tell, I've modded everything correctly and have permissions set correctly. I;m running into the following problem.
In the admin_attachments area, I set an upload directory and turn attachments on and save. However, when I return to that screen, the Upload directory and ON setting for attachments is not loaded. I've checked the DB and the values are there. A new directory is alread created in my UPLOADED folder named my username.
When I go to post, I do not have option to add an attachment. I've modded POST.asp as well.
Confused...
