Fahther french: Reagrding the first change block in the reame, look where it says

fAttachments = rsAttach ("F_ATTACHMENTS")
and replace it with

fAttachments = clng(rsAttach ("F_ATTACHMENTS"))

Let me konw how it works if it doesn't please put a

Response.write fAttachments
below the last 'end if' in that block, that will display the result somewhere on the page (true or false; let me know the result and remove the Response.write

You need to ask your host to set that permission for you on the specific folder.<

Oh, first of all thx proeder for your help. So do you mean that the permission is different from the ftp permission? Coz I am not quite familiar with the different between that and the permission I need to ask for the host...

Thx.

Hmm... sorry, preteens sounds like some of that ugly stuff...

Here we go: You need to ask your host to allow anonymous write access on your uploadfolder. On windows servers you cannot do that yourself normally.

I have to say, I found two small errors in the docs..

2. Edit Config.asp - there is a missing ' comment out code for the ############## code that you paste..

7. Uploading and configuration - you forget to tell us to upload
inc_iconfiles.asp

quote:
@nettemor: You need to activate the "show images in posts" option in the admin panel!
I can't find that option anywhere?? It's not in Attachments Administration page in the admin panel.. where is it?!

I also can't see anywhere in the user profile page (pop_profile.asp) where I can delete uploaded images?? pop_profile.asp isn't edited at all in the steps provided..<

Sorry about telling that...
Show image in posts is a regular snitz option. You find it in admin section ... (? features? I don't use regular snitz, so please have a look for it...)

You cannot delete attachements from pop_profile, please use myfiles.asp instead.

@all timeframe for the new release is 2 weeks or so, I have quite a lot other stuff right now to do, sorry.<

oh, ok.. the guy who asked the question wanted to know if attachments could just show in the post automatically, rather than having a link.. I guess he would like an option to put in [img ] tags around the uploaded picture rather than a link (of course he could edit the msg himself, but hey)..

Yeh, I thought you could delete attachments from pop_profile because when you upload a image, it says "You may reuse this file in any new post from now on.
In your "profile" you may delete the file in case you do not need it anymore." .. I thought you missed an include in pop_profile to have myfiles.asp displayed there or something..

Anyway, definately looking forward to the next update!! <
