I had a thought while making this along the same lines but didn't go ahead with it. Basically, reather than having seperate tables for the articles, you would just use the forum categories and assign the categories to the portal, this way you could use all the functionality of the forum....moderation....replies....etc.
But for now, have a look on SnitzBitz, someone made a mod that allowed moderators to post articles, that may be a good start to help you.< |

Ive seen it mentioned a few times but I either missed the answer or it hasn't been posted yet.
How can you put more than one topic in the center section of the portal?< |

You can't using the current code, you'd need to modify it yourself< |

I'm wondering about that aswell.
I'd like to have a panel with "Site Navigation" and "Links" on the left side for instance.. But when I add content, it just navigates to the post..
Is there some way we can add real links instead of forumposts?

RevDaveB, try page one of this thread about half way down. It tells of how you can add links to the side. I just tried it, it works very well.
I'm wondering if you can have the portal not needing to be logged into and the rest of the forum secure. Is this easy? Any ideas?
