At work, I worked on an XML database sharing app that worked great for databases. Someone should program a MOD to share databases, threads, members, stuff like that.<

define sharing a little more. you can share SQL databases using TCP/IP.<

As in sharing of members. Team up with many sites to create an ultimate online community. No one knows that you are together with other people but all forums share the same members. Topics and threads can also be shared.... well in my theory.<

You mean like in the old BBS days when we would toss mail between BBS's so people could post on one BBS and the thread was distributed to all the BBS's.<

Sharing the members table is built in to the forum code. Refer to the prefix setting in config.asp.
