Hi,
please correct me if i'm wrong.
I think the (spoiler) does only work in replys but not in first post.

In the first post the font color="" is empty.

It was never really tested that much, that's why it's not advertised as a feature.

in your topic.asp file, around line #49 find the following:

Dim ArchiveView, ArchiveLink
change it to this:

Dim ArchiveView, ArchiveLink, CColor

then around line #774 right after the following:

sub GetFirst()
insert the following line:

	CColor = strForumFirstCellColor

That should fix it.

I already fixed that by another way.
The problem with the function is, some people who don't know the spoiler could think there is a topic with no content.

I added a little text to the function what the people have to do if they want to read it. And i think a small border around the spoiler would be nice.
If you are intrested you can see here how it looks like.
Sorry for the german text in that topic.
I also added this to inc_post_buttons.asp, inc_iconfiles.asp and new class to inc_header.asp etc.
The colors in that class are not taken from variables yet.

I don't know, if you plan to make a real feature from it, you can grab the simple image for the post buttons from my page.

Bye Kirgy

I don't get this tag. It makes your text invisible and people have to guess they should select an empty post to reveal what's there?

It's for things like Movie discussions. Where you mask the text, so only those who want to read it, can read it, and those who don't want to, don't have to.

Interesting. Could it be made so that a member could choose to "view spoilers" or "hide spoilers"?

For example, your topic describes parts of the story from a movie. But some people who read this post do not want exactly to know what happens in the movie bevor they can watch it. So they can choose to read it or not. And i already know some forums where the user love this function. Ok isn't a snitz forum yet. But who knows :)
