sir D3MON:
would you know how I can get the top navbar and login moved to inc_site_left.asp. moving them there will push the forum up and increase content readability.
your insights and guidance are greatly appreciated in advance!

With the combination of Site Integration and Unversal Login, I've done something similar to this with my site. Basically, you'd remove the login and navigation code from inc_header.asp and move it to inc_site_left.asp and add the site integration code to inc_header and inc_footer. The inc_site files basically surround the forum.

sir Alex,
'would highly appreciate it if you can post the TXT versions of your inc_header.asp, inc_site_left.asp, and inc_footer.asp
This is exactly what I have planned to do but would rather concentrate on the design since you've done most of the tests to-date.
thanks mate!

...oh, btw, since this is the "ADD-ON," and not the "Help MOD" thread, 'appreciate it highly if you can post your questions/suggestions in this thread instead (don't want to get yelled at )

Should be able to fully release (version 1.0) soon. Initial testing seems to have been successful. More work on the readme file is needed, perhaps.< |

I'd like to have the logo and login stuff show up in inc_site_header.asp and not in the main forum table. I do not want the menu stuff (I'm trying to use my own. Can someone help me figure out what code to move into inc_site_header.asp and to remove from inc_header.asp?
I also want to move the snitz footer into inc_site_footer.asp and not have the footer show up in the main table

Paula, it's all in your table format - your far-right cell needs to span three rows and start in row 1 rather than row 2< |

Hello Everybody:
I Downloaded the Mod on September 9th & installed it with no problems.
But I just Found out a few days ago that Netscape Users see the Cells in all forms as blacked out & I was wanting to know if any of you have had this Problem, when viewing with Netscape?
I'm in no way saying it's the Mod, I'm the Problem 100%, But I can't find the Problem anywhere & it's due to the fact of me not knowing how to code properly?
I know it's missing a </table> tag somewhere maybe in the inc_Header or inc_footer, but I have no Idea how to correct it!
Does anybody have any ideas?< |
Thank You for Your Time!!!!! DJ5A |

Thanks for the help D3mon it works great :-)
Only thing I can't figure out is how to make the right cell 100% screen size. for some reason its not expanding. Any quick fixes for this?

Well, I know I am new to this, and know almost nothing of asp code, but I thought I would be able to follow the directions well, and cut and paste my way to Success! WRONG!! I have a fresh version of 3.4.03 and I installed the changes to the TEE (so I thought) I have even done it twice to make sure and I duplicated my problem both times. After I have done all the changes and run the mod integrator in Admin, and uploaded the files... Nothing works then... I cant load my default page, or any other forum page unless I go back and replace the modified files with the original files... does anyone have any ideas of what I am doing wrong? I have the modified files available to view if it would help. Thanks Whopper< |
