I am looking for some general information. I have the board working on two site, and on one, I updated some of the board through directly accessing the database. I found out how to create new forums with the purple folder, but none of my folders that I created this way allow new topics. I want to create a private forum, and several enhancements. Is there somewhere other than the FAQs which are nice for immediate questions but hardly complete for longer planning, that I can find some general information? Like, when I create a forum, how do I set permissions to post? How do I add or change moderators? Does each forum have only one moderator? Is there a file that I can locate with general information, or do I just search for individual items?
I tried to use some cgi boards, i.e. Ikonboard, and found a huge battle trying to configure them. ASP rules.
