basicaly you will want to go into the SQL statement in the section you are wanting ordered differently, and change the "ASC" in "Order By xxxxxx ASC" to "DESC" or vice versa.

Related to this is a very, very cool mod posted by Richard Kinser:

I incorporated this into the next alpha (unless HuW decides to take it out)

But, I think that Murat wanted to be able to change the order of Topics also. There was a MOD for this as well, I'll try to find it and post a link.

I know, but it's still a cool mod.

I think Murat is looking at the sorting/display of replies to a topic.

I did that once before, but the post got archived and I don't have that code anymore. That, plus it didn't work with MySQL

Unrelated to sorting the replies, what does everyone think about the sort functionality at the bottom of this page?

Certainly!!

I want to look it over and make sure I didn't miss anything obvious, and then I'll have to work it over into "pure" (unmodified) Snitz code.

...plus I have to make nice with the wife.
It was one of those (rare) moments when everything was clicking and once I started it I had to finish and then implement into the production site right away. Needless to say, I got home a little later than usual. For some reason, she wasn't as excited as I was about it.
