um, do you mean it doesn't show in post.asp, or it doesn't show after editing.

If it doesn't show in post.asp, have you added any other mods, since the last edit mod does not affect this file in any way,niether does the timezone mod

doesn't show in post.asp.

first nothing was shown and I found it might be a problem that I commented the old code with <!-- -->, and it seemed with a lot of </> in between the browser got confused. I then removed the old code, the message showed up, but still the original one doesn't show when editing. It's all right in my local test with access, strange.

take a look here:
http://www.homeinbeijing.com/testarea/31sr4test_m
user: test
pass: test

btw, I have other mods, i'm looking into it now.
well, in my back up version without timezone and edited by time mod, it worked fine.
if it's ok for others, it must be my problem inserting the code, though I don't know where it is.

I can only assume you must have made a mistake in your editing, thhis mod should not affect post.asp in anyway, you certainly shouldn't have edited any code in it anyway.

You should have added two lots of code to post_info, which also should not affect post.asp, since they occur after you have posted.

I'm terribly sorry that I just found that the files on my host has more mods than my backuped ones. And the problem was not caused by implementing your mods at all.

must be my mistake on some other mods' implementation. well, do you happen to know what the code is and in which files it will retrieve the original messages?

not sure now.

I got new problem

after installing time zone mod, and log on as admin with IE 5.01 on sql server, I got this error:

You last visited on
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'DayLightTimeStart'

/testarea/31sr4test_m/inc_functions.asp, line 2203

2202-04

end if

dsStartDate = DayLightTimeStart(rsMemTime)
dsEndDate = StandardTimeStart(rsMemTime)

check it here
admin/admin
http://www.homeinbeijing.com/testarea/31sr4test_m/default.asp

there's no problem if I use netscape, nor on my local test with Ie5.01/access.
i tried to removed all members other than admin and all posts, recreated the forum, but still got the errors.
