Hi again...
I'm very happily running AznKnight's Links Manager Mod. I want to include link.asp (the manger's main page) in my non-snitz home page. However, I don't want the top functions or anything else, so what I did was make a copy, links2.asp figuring I'd edit it as I needed.
Obviously, though, it's calling config.asp and inc_top.asp. I don't want inc_top stuff.
Can I just copy the data from config and put it in liks2? Do I need any of the opening or closing table tags from inc_top? Or can I just skip that one?
Sorry, I've never tried to do Snitzy stuff on a no-Snitz page before
Cheers, Bri

I'll work up a inc_links.asp file for ya, kinda like the inc_events.asp thing. It'll be like a modular way to add links manager in anywhere you want, probably which would be the front page. All you need to do is do a server side include on that file .

oh your home is probably outside of your forum directory huh? Also does it have includes the config.asp file? and btw it's just a silly question you asked.
i created something quick that will add to the forum's default.asp page. But the layout would probably be different if it's a non-forum page. You can see it here: http://www.calvsa.net/snitz/
it uses the forum's layout variables that's why i asked about config.asp.

Well, I'm sure it seems simple enough for you, but it's not for me. So I am grateful, what can I say. I do generally have a go before posting, and some things I can figure out myself, but this one did me in. Many ASP things do :o/
Anyway, yes; my forum is outside my Snitz /forum directory. So I need some of that Snitzy ASP code with the str stuff in the include page... that's what killed me, knowing what parts I needed.
I basicly just want to take that table with the "Snitz Resource 2000 Links Manager" stuff from the calvsa home page and stick it somewhere else...
I'm currently using a css style sheet, but I'd be *totally happy* to call and use Snitz colour settings if that possible...
CHEERS!
