Hi, sorry to post again, but can anyone tell me what this error is and how I can fix it? I was testing my own forum. As the admin I posted a message and it posted correctly, but logged in as a member I got this error. Thanks!!

This means you have either selected the wrong email component, or it is not isnalled correctly. Take a look at the forum downloads page, you should be able to fuind a file called testemailcomponent, this will tell you waht components are available on your server

Can you tell me what kind I should be selecting, I've tried SMTP and IIS, but neither seem to fix the problem.

download the check email component, it will tell you which components are installed on your server
